What we collect, and why.

Written from what the code actually does. Every line below matches something we genuinely hold — not a template copied from elsewhere.

Who this notice is from

KamiVerify is operated by Kamiverse Tech, based in the Republic of Cameroon. This notice explains what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.

It covers kamiverify.com and everything you do inside your account. It does not cover the websites of the payment providers or app platforms you reach from here — those have their own notices.

Draft for review. This notice describes our actual practice honestly, but it has not been checked by a Cameroon-qualified lawyer. It should be reviewed before you rely on it in a dispute.

What we collect

WhatWhy we have it
Name, email, username, phoneTo create your account, sign you in, and reach you about an order.
PasswordStored as a one-way hash. We never hold it in readable form and cannot tell you what it is.
Account balance and spendingTo show what you have and to charge orders against it.
Payment recordsAmount, method, date and the reference your payment provider returns. We never see or store your card number, PIN or Mobile Money password — those stay with the provider.
Order recordsFor a number: the country, service and the code received. For a boosting order: the link, quantity and delivery status.
Referral codeTo credit whoever invited you, and you for whoever you invite.
IP address and sign-in datesTo detect fraudulent use and to show you your own recent activity.
Support messagesTo answer you and to look back at what was agreed.
API keyOnly if you generate one. It identifies your account to our API.

We do not ask for identity documents, we do not run credit checks, and we do not buy data about you from anyone.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It leaves us in only three situations.

Payment providers

When you top up, the amount and a reference go to the payment provider you chose so it can take the payment and tell us whether it succeeded. Your Mobile Money PIN and card details are entered on their systems, never ours.

Number providers

When you order a number, the country and service you asked for go to the provider supplying that number. Your name, email and payment details are not sent — the provider is given only what it needs to allocate a number.

When the law requires it

We may disclose records in response to a lawful request from a competent authority, or where we must to prevent or report a crime.

How long we keep it

  • Your account — for as long as it is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete the account and its orders.
  • Payment records — kept after an account closes, because we have to be able to show what was paid and when if a payment is ever disputed.
  • Verification codes — a code received on a rented number is shown in your account and is of no use after the verification is done.
  • Support messages — kept while they are useful for answering you.

Deleting an account is not reversible. The balance on it is not refundable as cash, so spend it or ask support before you ask us to close it.

Cookies and what your browser stores

We use very little, and none of it is for advertising.

  • A session cookie — set when you sign in, so the site knows it is still you as you move between pages. It expires when you sign out or after a period of inactivity. The site does not work without it.
  • Two small settings stored by your browser — your language choice and whether you prefer the light or dark theme. These stay on your device, are never sent to us, and you can clear them from your browser at any time.

Google Analytics — we use it to count visits and see which pages people actually read, so we know what to fix. It sets its own cookies and tells Google your approximate location, your device and which pages you opened. It does not receive your name, your email, your balance or anything about your orders. You can switch it off with Google's official browser add-on, or with any ad blocker — the site works normally either way.

We run no advertising trackers, and we sell nothing to anyone.

What you can ask us to do

  • See it — ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Correct it — your name, email and phone are editable in your account; ask us for anything else.
  • Delete it — ask us to close your account. Payment records are kept as described above.
  • Object — tell us if you think we are holding something we should not be.

Write to us from the address on your account so we can be sure it is you. We aim to answer within a few working days.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, so what passes between your browser and us is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash rather than in readable form. Access to the admin side requires a separate sign-in.

No online system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password and contact us straight away.

Asking us about your data

Message us on WhatsApp at +237 686 690 064, or open a support ticket from inside your account. Both reach the same people, and both are read in English and French.

If we update this notice we will change the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced in your account.

Still not sure what we hold?

Ask us. We will tell you exactly what is on your account and delete anything you want gone.
