How to verify TikTok without your phone number
You can open a TikTok account with an email address alone: on the sign-up screen choose "Use phone or email", then the Email tab. TikTok sometimes asks for a phone number later - for a security check, to go live, or after a login from a new device. When it does, a virtual number receives the SMS code for you without exposing your own number. Once you are in, add 2-step verification by email so the next check comes to you, not to the rented number.
Option 1: sign up with email
- Open TikTok and tap Sign upChoose "Use phone or email", then the Email tab.
- Enter your email and confirm itTikTok sends a six-digit code to your inbox. Check the spam folder if it is slow.
- Set a strong passwordThis account now has no phone number at all.
Option 2: when TikTok insists on a phone
- Rent a number for TikTokTop up with mobile money, card or crypto, then pick a country with a good delivery rate on the TikTok page.
- Enter it in TikTok with the matching countryTikTok shows the country code in its own box: type the number without it.
- Copy the code from your KamiVerify pageIt usually arrives within a minute. No code in 20 minutes means an automatic refund.
Keep the account reachable
Profile, menu, Settings and privacy, Security, 2-step verification: tick Email. A rented number cannot receive your future codes, so make sure TikTok has a way to reach you that you control.
Common questions
Is it allowed to sign up without a phone number?
Yes. Email sign-up is an option TikTok offers itself.
Why does TikTok ask for my number later?
Usually a security check: a login from a new phone or country, or a feature such as LIVE that asks for extra verification.
Can I remove the number afterwards?
Once an email is on the account and 2-step verification uses it, the number no longer matters. Never rely on the rented number for recovery.
